Pizzey’s Milling has introduced its milled flaxseed bran under the trade names of FortiGrad™ and NutriGrad™, for bakery, cereal, nutrition bar and other food and nutritional product applications. FortiGrad flax­seed bran, which has a mild toasty flavor, enables product developers to enhance the nutritional value of their products even at low levels of use. NutriGrad is a fine-milled flaxseed bran developed for use in food supplements. Flaxseed bran, developed through a patent-pending technology, is rich in dietary fiber, antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids.
